Old Vegas/”Downtown”: The original Las Vegas strip, home to many classic casinos and vintage treasures The Strip: the 4 mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard that is roughly between Sahara Avenue and Russell Road. But when left to my own devices, I seek the vintage nooks and crannies full of nostalgic kitsch. These trips are always centered on the strip, a shiny, albeit mostly more expensive tourist zone. I always agree to attend work conferences that most bemoan and gleefully accept bachelorette party invites. It might surprise you to know, I love Las Vegas.
